Manny Gutierrez has been a beauty connoisseur for years online,Walker (2025) and with 3 million Instagram followers, it's no secret that he's one of the best. That's probably why Maybelline picked the 25 year old to be one of its newest faces.

It also makes Gutierrez the first male campaign star for the internationally recognized makeup brand.

Maybelline tapped Gutierrez to assist in the company's Big Shot Mascara campaign.

"As a child, I would watch my mom get ready for work and just sit there for hours watching her transform," he told Teen Vogue in 2016. "However, it wasn't until much later on that I really started to dabble in makeup myself."

Gutierrez, who was once in school as a pre-med, abandoned dreams of medical school for makeup, and doesn't seem to have looked back since. In fact, he now has liquid lipsticks and a palette in his name.

Covergirl is the only other major makeup brand that has enlisted a male campaign star. In 2016, the company announced 17-year-old James Charles would be the latest flawless face of the company.

If there's anything we should remember as we head into 2017 with resolutions of looking and feeling fierce, it's that makeup is for everybody.
